I think the reason we're in the early stages is that people are starting to get a little more judgmental, “Hey, this company has data on me and they're using it in a way that's uncomfortable.” We are not really in an experiential time. I think we're a long way off, but I think what's happening is people are asking for more. They want to be part of something. They want to feel part of something. They just don't want to be pushed into anything. It's going to be difficult for these different silos that marketers live in, whether it's email marketing, social media marketing, search marketing. You can't think like that anymore. You need to think about what your client is thinking and feeling, what they are doing in their life, how to become a small part of their life rather than sending them another advertisement.
